And there are rumors that some legal action against the individual Minneapolis City Council members might be coming. Oh, how I hope that's true.

Please, please, please let this be true. And if the plaintiffs can't nail them in criminal court, then go after them in civil court just like they do to police officers. Then go for civil rights violations if that doesn't work.

In this case, the unfortunate victim of the mistaken TASER killing, Duarte Wright, has his estate named in two civil cases for two shootings that occurred during robberies (that occurred before his demise reportedly hastened by an air freshener).

In the heart of the hip trendy expensive Uptown neighborhood...an 800 SF condo will cost you north of $200k there.

Note that this is one of the council members that had private taxpayer-funded security during the really hot part of the May/June 2020 riots, and is also one of the loudest proponents of police department abolishment.

I doubt things will get any better, but they may become both funnier and more stupid before summer is out.
