At first I would have thought that a screen-used hero gun from a movie that famous, used by an actor that famous, might actually go for $5mil. But I really have no frame of reference. I didn't pay much attention before but I just noticed they mention it had sold at auction in 2006. But I don't see a price from said auction.

Now that I think about it, why isn't this thing being auctioned off by Rock Island Auction Company or somebody like that? How the heck is anybody going to find the listing on Gunbroker?

If I remember right, Han Solo's blaster only(?!?) went for about $500K a couple years back. $5M seems an unlikely value. Of course with one off artifacts the market value is especially whatever someone is willing to pay for it today...

Deactivated and IIRC the ad copy says it can ship right to you. I saw the nose of the hammer mounted firing pin was cut off/ground off but I don’t know what else has been done to deactivate it.
