    Fascinating regional data website

city-data.com Apologies if this has been posted previously; I cannot find it using search.

Go ahead and look at the area or state of your choice, and look at the map to the right. It has a huge pull-down menu (default choice is "median household income")
With vast sets of data. I would bet one could make all sorts of inferences about social and political situations from it.
Really, go look and play a bit. I'm learning lots about the lumbering, socially tottering area in which I call home.

Thanks. This should prove real useful as I plan my escape from Kalifornia!

The data is really granular! I can click on a 4 block area in my neighborhood and compare to data that I know to be true, and it seems pretty accurate.
