They keep cracking on the lens because she puts them on her head. Any suggestions or known discounts. Thank you.

Wife and I bought some sunglasses from MVMT two Christmases ago and they’ve held up fine. I’ve dropped mine from atop my head more than a few times and have had no breaks or scratches.

I like Goodr. Cheap, polarized, lots of styles.

Not as nice as Oakleys or Spy, but no big deal if they get lost or trashed.
Aviator style? I've had good luck with Oakley (Crosshairs, Gauge 8 and Elmont). I work construction, lenses get scratched beyond use long before the frames give up the ghost. And the lenses get crap bounced off them constantly, and wiped off with dirty tee shirts. They've never stress cracked.
My wife really likes her Tifosi Alpe (enough to recently buy a second pair) and wears them as both her everyday and running go tos. Not the huge over size things that apparently are "fashionable", but they look good on her, and she's not easy on stuff. Unfortunately, you just missed a sale but there likely will be another (and they may have a first time buy discount if you go direct).

I got a notification Maui Jim is running a decent sale right now, maybe she just needs to try a different model.
My wife and I have had good success with Bolle sunglasses. I think the models we have are out of production, but mine are the Grunt model ( https://www.big5sportinggoods.com/st...67/_/A-3156551 ) and her's are the Dip model ( https://www.big5sportinggoods.com/st.../6110120880273 ).
Not quite 20 years ago, I bought two pair of each for us (they were in the $35 - $40 range on sale at Campmor). We wear them daily, all year round. My wife broke her first pair a while back, but pair #2 has been in use for probably 10 years and they spend an awful lot of time attached to the top of her baseball cap. She can break anything, I'm really surprised she hasn't broken these yet.
I'm still on my original pair of Bolle Grunt's. Pair #2 is still in a box in a drawer waiting for the other pair to fail.
I got a pair of Edge Eyewear polarized tinted safety glasses for my sunglasses. Very happy with them at ~$35 each, and they're supposedly ballistic rated.

I get mine at Costco because I need a prescription. At least when I shop at Costco with my mask I'm stylin bro.
I've seen some real hotties in Costco.
In the P-F basket of deplorables.
Everybody talks about the sunglasses they've had good luck with but none are comparing them to the optical clarity of MJ's.
I think you're correct it is time to try a different style.
If you choose a lower priced product avoid polarized ones because if polarization is not done right it will give you the equivalent of motion sickness.
It's difficult to go backwards after having a quality pair of sunglasses.
