At my lgs girlfriends of criminals buy guns for them. I see them come in with lists. All it takes is an 18 year old person with no criminal history. Income tax refund time is draco time. I do not have a solution to this problem but would not object if the purchase age was raised to 21. I would not object if they were treated as handguns. If they were, the draco carriers would have more restrictions. But that's me. I do not advocate this. Soon it won't matter anyway. Get ready to kiss it goodbye.

Straw purchasing is already a felony. So we should make it a triple double dog felony, or what?

The problem is the handful of those cases that ever get prosecuted get some teary-eyed girl on the stand crying about how her criminal boyfriend was scary and she was scared he'd hurt her if she didn't buy the gun he wanted - and they walk.

Braced pistols notwithstanding, I actively avoid malls. There is nothing there worth my time.

We had a mass shooting at our mall a couple years ago, I knew one of the ladies that was killed. I don't step foot in that mall more than I have to, but when I do I'm carrying. No guns allowed signs don't have the weight of law behind them here so they can shove them up their ass.
