The first indication a bad guy should have that I'm dangerous is when his
disembodied soul is looking down at his own corpse wondering what happened.
I had just assumed that after Sandy Hook, most people on here planned way ahead for the future. Sandy Hook was my defining moment to get "future proof" on ammo and mags.
#RESIST
Sandy Hook was when I first got into the game (firearms in general). This event is my reason for spinning up my reloading setup and becoming self sufficient for my commonly used ammo. I won’t go through this kind of shortage without something again.
I had thought about doing it sooner, but the cost of reloading at the time didn’t make sense. Now that things have dramatically changed, it makes so much sense it literally hurts.
Depends on your definition of "future proof."
A lot of "fighting the last war" thinking with people keeping a .40 cal in the back of the safe since .40 was still on the shelves during the Sandyhook thing. Of course that was based on the assumption .40 would still be on the shelf.
