Vibratite doesnt fully cure so it is the best choice if making adjustments.

Just be sure to let the V.C.-3 fully cure on the screws before you re-install. The solvent vapors can damage some plastics.

You could also buy a pack of these screws.

I chose 8/32 because it is what I see most often. Other sizes are available

Larry T, it's VC-3, a resettable thread locker and what I would suggest.

I've applied VC-3 to all the screws on most of my holsters now. Big help. I've found that on my 17-length and 34-length 2.0 the screws backing out seem to happen on the rear clip because there's some movement (forward and backward) of both the clip and mod-wing unless the retention is really tight. I set the retention as tight as possible while still allowing me to quietly (serruptitiously) unholster by pressing down on the sight guard with my thumb while pulling up with my grip to break the retention. This allows a quiet partial draw without the obvious drawing sound.

I've also marked the screws with a silver Sharpie permanent marker so I can easily see any screw movement.Name: Vibra-tite V-3 markings.jpg

Challis rubber O-rings or similar big-box store rubber washer/grommet alternatives. For harder materials, such a G10, red computer fiber washers are another alternative, but the Challis O-rings are my preferential choice for most applications.

    Best, Jon
