I was looking on Smith's website, and cannot find the 2.0 version of the .45 Compact.
I had been looking last year at getting one to compliment my 1.0 Fullsize, but they were never in stock , and being further down the priority list over other wants, I just kind of forgot about it.
However with stuff being more available and with a bit of extra cash I went looking to see what they are going for now, and apparently Smith dropped them.
When did this happen?

No option for the 8 round mag, you can only get the shorter slide on the FS frame. The slightly shorter slide doesn't interest, it is the compact frame that I want.Originally Posted by TheNewbie

End of 2019, they had it in their site, and it was available online via Brownells at least for a moment. I remember because I was surprised they did a 2.0 subcompact 9mm, thinking the Shield had taken that niche.
Yep, the 1.0 that I had handled was almost perfect. The 2.0 features would have made the only thing to change the sights. A true G19 sized reliable carry .45.

I know it's not the version you want, but I've got a 1.0 mid-size and it's a really sweet setup.
Yeah it's not the end of the world, just disappointing. It looks like they have cut back a lot of the non-9mm SKUs. Must be focusing production on what is in higher demand.
