This is something I should have bothered to learn before I bought one. But I didn't know what I didn't know, ya know?. I don't reload so as long as 7mm Mauser is safe to shoot it's not a huge deal. I saw one on GB that was in a 7x57mm black powder cartridge but the rear sight ladder was way taller. When I told the LGS it was coming in he asked if it was 7x57 mauser or 7x57 rimmed, which I has never even heard of. By the looks of the rear sight it looks to be fairly flat shooting so I'm guessing it's 7mm Mauser or the closest thing to it.

Wife dropped this MT Bull at 755 w/ her Ruger No.1 single shot back in 2017

Somewhere I’ll find a photo of the BLK single shots.

I've looked but I can't find the notes I had saved on 7mm and the RRB but I did find this chart I saved which someone might find useful.

I bought a RB in the early aughts. It is a sporterized Danish/Swedish one that was built in 1875 in one of the 11mm rim fired cartridges and was converted to 8x58R Danish centerfire in 1892.

I have dies, brass, and a mold but I haven't gotten around to actually shooting it.

Well the 7mm Rolling Block I ordered from Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore turned out to not be a 7mm. Looks like it might be a .43 Spanish. So I'm waiting to hear back from them so I can send it back.

Well according to their return policy it looks like they'll pay for shipping and give me a full refund. I also just got a call from the shop that received it and someone was eyeballing it so they called me to ask if I'd be willing to sell it and I said if he wanted to give me what I paid he can have it. So we'll see what happens.

So Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore got back to me and asked for pictures of the rifle. Not sure WTF that was about but the other guy that was interested ended up buying it so it all worked out. Now to figure out what to spend the money on. I think this time it'll be one of them new-fangled repeaters. Thinking about a Rossi 92 or a Ruger American Ranch 5.56.

Bump because my single shot-itus flared up last week.

I see Henry had a recall on their single shot rifles last year and all of the ones produced since then have much better trigger pulls.

Has anyone tried a recent visit production model or is it my turn in the barrel?
