    I'm looking.
Well, it is a keeper. I can use it, with the tiny/thin grip panels, with mild ammo. If I decide to let it go, my wife has first dibs. Actually, it is all I can do to keep her from claiming it, as it is.
    Retar’d LE. Kinesthetic dufus.

Other than the price, I think that's a great gun for the one-box-of-ammo-a-year gun owner who isn't going to carry concealed. A 3" or 4" tube would arguably be better.
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.

Short .357's are pretty neat. I like to buy & use magnums in 4", but I also have a 2 1/2" Python and it's so easy to carry & conceal.
    I really enjoy the gun.
The number of people who carry a revolver is a small %, the number who carry an N-frame is a "smaller" %, but quite a few people do it.
That's a good price on ANY N-frame in my part of the world.

Stopped by my parents’ house and got my dad’s out. It really does have a great trigger.

I had the L frame, 7 shot version of this.
I honestly tried. I put on Nill stocks, I tried damn near every load I could find.
Nope, all it did was punish me.

I actually prefer shooting my 57-5 Mountain gun in .41 Mag more than that little bastard.
    It was just pure suck.

Thank goodness another forum member here saved me from that little bastard.
I cannot imagine the N frame being any more enjoyable.

I’ve shot the 686 version next this version, and the 627 shot noticeably softer.

I did think that the grips on the 686 weren’t that comfortable.

    Did you try pachymers?

Yep. For some reason, most L frames in magnum calibers seem to have a really strange torque to them, the shorter the barrel, the worse it seems. At least for me.

I much prefer that .41 with stags and a grip adapter.

I wish they'd make a run of these as eight-shot 627s. Simple, classic style, stainless. No PC/snubby/Ti/milled flats unnecessary nonsense.
