I mean one can remove the striker from a Glock in a matter of a few seconds rendering it non-functional, then in a few more seconds make it functional again.

It’s possible she was holding a functional firearm in the pictures, and only made it non-functional one they went back inside. The fact that the lab made it functional would be consistent with something like this.

Again, don’t think that is a major point of importance in this case.
Yes, we know why it was not functioning, essentially assembled incorrectly. It's spelled out in the article linked at the top of this page. https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/lo...=snd-autopilot

It may be a major question of the case, per the wording of MO's law they've been charged under, which was also discussed up thread.

Here's a laugh. My wife shows little interest in firearms. She hasn't paid attention to the Lawn Lawyers. Anyway, they came on the tube today in a news clip. My wife, says to look at her and starts criticizing her grip and gun handling. Ha!

Wife has been shown how to do that. Told her the gun was inoperable, that led to the wife just laughing.

I wonder who's been digging up dirt on Kim Gardner?
More and more info is coming out about several trips she took in 2018 and 2019 that were paid for by activist/special interest groups.
It seems that she has failed to report these trips as required by law.
Ethics violations for sure, probable state law violations and possible federal tax evasion are all on the table now.

Like I posted earlier in the thread.
I bet $100 P-F dollars she goes to jail before the McCloskey's.

If you're dirty you best not fuck around with wealthy lawyers who specialize in digging up dirt for civil lawsuits.

Townhall is reporting Missouri's AG has intervened and the charges have been dropped:

Top St. Louis prosecutor Kim Gardner, the city’s first Black circuit attorney, defeated a former city homicide prosecutor in her Democratic primary race on Tuesday, all but ensuring her reelection in the general election this fall.

Garner received over 60% of the vote, more than 43,000 votes compared to Carl’s 28,000.

This is especially funny to me because, when she was discussing the incident with me, one of my wife's comments was along the lines of "he was holding his rifle completely wrong, I know that's not how you hold yours when you aren't actively trying to shoot something, you have it slung pointed at the ground." She also knew the pistol grip and pointing on display was FUBAR.

Would like to see some other sources re the dismissal. A review of the publically accessible docket sheet indicates that the AG has filed motions to dismiss etc. The docket sheet does not show them as ruled.
[url]https://www.courts.mo.gov. You have to put in the circuit (22nd) and the McCluskey's (sp?) to get the result.

He is the judge that would presumably rule them. He has been a judge for 8ish years and was an assistant city counselor and a member of the general counsel's office of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
