Man, I'm so glad I didn't express how much I did not like the movie.
We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.

I’m 62, guess it’s time I read this book. I’m #29 on the wait list for the ten Kindle copies at my local eLibrary.

Isn’t it just “Tremors”, but full of weirdos?
Knife fights, magic, space pirates, romance, desert warrior holy man mystique, war, freaky magic witch cult.

And a bunch of weirdos. And big sand worms.

Haven’t read the book, and haven’t watched the movie.

I though I was going to like that, and did, right up until Orlando Bloom’s frantically pumping ass showed up.

    Bleach, brain, bleach.

Having read and enjoyed Starship Troopers, I was greatly looking forward to the movie. Disappointed, doesn’t begin to describe how I felt about the movie. Heinlein must have spun in his grave at redline when that trash hit the theaters.

Disappointment..... some time in late 1982, SFC Ed Flagg said to me, “You know what your problem is? You’re an optimist. Optimists are always disappointed. Me, I’m a pessimist. Pessimists are rarely disappointed.”. Thanks, SFC Flagg.
