My dad brought 2 of those pistols home after the war. I remember not being strong enough to work the action.
Friend has a mint Luger P08 he inherited from his late father-in-law complete with affidavit stating the day, place and name and rank of the decedent from whom he acquired the pistol.

There is a youtube video from C&Rsenal about this pistol that is very good. Shows its history and workings.

Also, there is a guy on youtube name Mark Novak who preserves these old guns. He seems to boil everything in water. But, it's a good series, and he does some impressive conversation - read expensive - work.

I'd buy it for 5 quarters and 3 pennies.
