A little history with Ken Hackathorn.......

Here's a nice little vid on the developmental history of the 1911. Nothing groundbreaking, but nice if you enjoy history.

We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......

    Ken Hackathorn

Thanks for the 411. I had the opportunity to meet Mr Hackathorn, a gentleman and scholar of the 1911.

Thanks for posting the video. Hackathorn is one of my heroes. Took a Centennial 1911 Class with LAV and him and enjoyed listening and pointers from both.

I get it, I really do. The waving of the muzzle towards the camera, though....

    Unloaded guns not withstanding.

    HUGE Hackathorn fan.

    VERY educational, none the less...

Yeah, I get it, but let's try not to get all safety nazi on it.

Ken's a wealth of historical info and I'd love to spend time with him discussing stuff. Hell, we wouldn't even need to shoot.

A bit of trivia: the Rolex that Ken has on came from Matt Graham, in a fit of epic trading.

A great scholar of firearms period. I can't think of any category of firearms Ken isn't well versed in.
We wish to thank the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, without whose assistance this program would not have been possible.
