Mine showed up today. I’ve got it charging right now before I do much more with it but what I’ve seen so far is pretty impressive.

In hand. Bright. Heavy. Flexible mounting solutions. Not sure how enthused about the proprietary charging setup. Stay tuned.

    Arrived today.

    1)Excellent handwarmer :-)
2)Interesting mount. The ability to quick-detach for handheld might me useful. I dunno if the quick-detach remote switch attachment will prove reliable, or if the collar will be prone to getting inadvertently moved out of the locked position. Kinda wish it was slightly less quick-detach, like maybe threaded on.
3)The magnetic charging thru the switch means you can short the switch ... the instructions warn "the tail switch may not work while immersed in sea water or other conductive media. Please try to keep it clean and dry". Ordinary rain water is less conductive than salt water, but not an insulator. It would be a bummer if it failed in the rain. It also says "Do not short circuit the switch ... will result in a loss of current below 3mA ... battery drain if in this state for too long". 3 mA isn't a lot for a 5000 mAH battery, but still ... a conventional remove-to-charge battery and switch wouldn't pose that problem. Too clever by half, perhaps??
4)The sun is still up, so dunno how it works as, you know, a light yet :-)

Similar first impressions. Ended up having to order a Thorntail2 1913 mount so I can clear the stupidly large screw head on my MBUS pro front sight so i'll probably be waiting a couple more weeks before I get it set up the way I want.

edit: Also, everything about it screams quality, down to the packaging. The thing is boxed up like an iphone.

Yes, no pics. Preliminary: Long throw. Warm beam color produces truer terrain, feature, and object color. Bright. Spill at distance was quite bright. Seemed to penetrate tinted auto glass okay.

I agree with this. It’s a much warmer tint than Surefires.
