Plus, Amazon is trying to get into government cloud services.
Was going to say HQ2 is already rolling out here... Bye Seattle, just like NYC...

They've already won the Top Secret cloud for the intelligence community, which is probably why the government didn't choose them for JEDI and won't choose them for the Secret cloud. It would be smart to have HQ2 on the East Coast and even smarter to get HQ1 out of Seattle if not King County.

Seattle will suffer but neither Amazon nor the Seattle City Council cares.

We talked to several couples who even said that their property was the subject of a bidding war as buyers sought to close the deal before someone else bid.

I didn't think too much about it until just now.

Are these kinds of things still happening in Seattle these days?
RV and trailer parks are still full. Lots of people used that as an option to buying a 500K house within a 45 minute commute into the city. Traffic is gridlocked in and around Seattle for at least 4 hours a day so a 45 minute commute is only a few miles in that traffic. Boeing has a big RIF going on right now so that's going to move some people out also.

We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.

I'm just going to set back and watch the socialist try to get a foothold here again. I hope Sawant is familiar with the operation and maintenance of the AR-15.

Yes, they did. It was close but she made it. I think that a lot of it was the novelty of voting for an openly card-carrying socialist I sincerely hope that most of these people now regret their votes but I doubt that they do.
