Hey, kids, want to learn about oppression? The Angels are here to enslave you using the outlaw MC prison model.

Most people tend to get along just fine when there's enough resources for everyone, nobody has to do unpleasant jobs, and the community is small, like-minded, and largely self-selected.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

He's a backwoods looking white guy walking around if flip-flops and narrating for the camera--nobody is bothering him. As far as he can tell, he might be the only one carrying a gun. He never saw an armed person anywhere.

He also says he expects it to end in violence if law enforcement shows up to try and break it up with force.

Well.....one would need to understand Seattle politics. This area (chaz) has more resources than any poor or black neighborhood in town. The politicians see to that. Also the well organized money who runs all these national protests (notice signs with the same fonts in every city) The enlightened progressives may not overtly condone this mess but they are deep down wishing they were street urchins instead of suits so they could participate.

This is a communist utopia (for now). As long as resources are provided they are going no where. The city will do nothing nor will news mention the stench. And to the idiots with local 9am talk shows What motivation do they have to negotiate? (Local talk show hosts visited and were shocked that when people show up to negotiate that the chaz people don't play that).

Seattle has always had its weird iconic shit and this fits in.

Speaks to what groups there are carrying guns. Not the standard folks of the gun forums.

The 2nd Amendment mantra has penetrated to more in society than guys burying their modern sporting rifles to fight Medicare for All. Couldn't resist, that last comment.

So are we on the brink of a Balkans like disaster?

That, in a nutshell, was the bottom line conclusion of my year long independent study of why socialism has worked, temporarily, in pre-surplus economies...but hasn't worked in post-surplus economies.

Thank you, professor, for your brevity.

J.K. Rowling could certainly take a page out of your book.

It seems their motto is: Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!

    How Democrat of them.

    That's for sure!

I'm not trying to advocate for their CHAZy position. I've got a lifelong friend, one that I respect and admire, who works out of that exact precinct and has been deeply involved with these groups long before George Floyd was killed. My friend is NOT happy about the situation at all, and I don't like it either.

That being said, watching that video by "The Yankee Marshall" (a silly pro-2nd amendment gun channel) really puts into perspective how virtually all the CHAZ "information" I've been fed is purposefully de-contextualized. It gets twisted into propaganda designed to isolate, concentrate, and propagate only that which is maximally inflammatory. On both sides, the narratives are purposefully crafted to make things worse. And it was working really good on me.

I should not be surprised, but it never ceases to amaze me how badly our sense-making organs have broken down in this country.

Guess Who's Not Coming to Dinner?

It's sad that the poor white folks can't participate in reindeer games the blacks and indigenous folks' (and their plant allies) garden of earthly delights.

Is it too early to start a white lives matter movement? Too soon?
