Reassembly of G45 Went Off the Rails

So I was reassembling a brand new Glock 45 and somehow managed to do this:



In decades of handling Glock pistols, I’ve never seen or heard of this way of screwing up reassembly before, let alone done it myself.

Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

I gotta say, for whatever reason, the G45 appears to be winning a lot of hearts and minds. I know of at least two agencies in our neck of the woods who went to the 45, In one of those agencies, an agent who I know well and who is one of the most senior in his agency (and a REALLY good cop, great to work with) has been carrying his 1911 for 10+ years at least. I made a crack asking if he was going to pick up one of the shiny new G45s they got, since as a senior agent he had the option to keep his preferred gun or switch, and to my completely shock he pulled up his hoodie and showed a G45 with a TLR-7 attached. Apparently that package is extremely popular in the agency and most of them switched.
