Tom Halloran has been incrementally upping his game

It dawned on me that while I have a bunch of reverse edge SFBs, and I have some bigger fixed blades, and the requisite folders, I did not have a 4”-ish utility fixed blade that could stand up to some use. Not a one (which was the impetus for my Spartan blades thread, incidentally).

As fate would have it, I got an email blast from Tom noting that he was finishing up some knives, including this differentially hardened little 4-inch gem, designed to put as much utility as possible into a compact package. Great idea, and I love the knife.

But nobody cares about that; the assemblage demands pics...

That’s sweet. I’ve got a fancy-ish one he made me years ago

My RD https://halloranknives.com/rd is a great utility fixed blade. It's always with me in the backcountry. Enjoy!

Right on. This a version of the RD, and I’ve already hauled it into the back woods of Idaho. I’m sold on it.

I am not much of a knife guy (except professionally where I use them once and they get tossed), but that thing is hot!

Cool knives. Reminded me a bit of an "EBK" from master smith Ed Caffrey up in MT (as I recall). I've had this for some years.

Could be worn on belt or as a neck knife.
There's nothing civil about this war.

I have a SEAX that was a gift from a very kind friend. It's a very important part of my GTFOOD bag.

I suppose I should mention that I have one of Tom’s Pikals, too.
