A couple a couple clicks up and to the left in I think the 507K is on point. 25 yard zero completed in 25 rounds. So far so good. It is going to take some practice to get used to this but I can already see the benefits.

I'm not sure what the hell that's all about! My 407 was on the fritz and I went through normal channels to make my warranty claim... And I just realized, I mis-spoke- the replacement 507 I received is the "new" X2 version!

I received my replacement on Saturday, it was a 507c-x2 as well. The cracked glass optic I sent in was a 407c-v2, and the 407c-x2 is probably unobtainium for another couple of months it seems like. I'm happy they took care of me (finally), but the inconsistency is troubling. It should be either "we're sorry, here's a 507 so you don't have to wait", or "we're sorry for the continued delay, if you don't want to wait we offer a discounted upgrade of $35 to the 507". You got the former and I got the latter, customer service should have a consistent policy here. I'm not going to bring it to their attention since I'm fortunate for them to even honor a warranty over a breakage that was an accident to begin with, as not all companies will do that.

What is the advantage of going to the Titanium version and not? I have a slide cut out for a 407/507 and trying to figure out which one to get. I was thinking a 407 or 507 in green/red and with some state police agencies running the holosun I was thinking of getting a pair for my two optic GLocks. I have a Jagerworks Glock 45 slide done for a Holosun and a Glock 19 Unity Tactical that I can change to a Holosun from the rifle optic that is on it now (T1)

The titanium are a little lighter and arguably more durable. I'm not sure it's really that big of a deal. The 508T V2/X2 is also a little different looking if that matters.

Which state police agencies are using Holosun?

Titanium is heavier than aluminum. In the case of Holosun's red dots, it means more weight. From a purely materials standpoint, I would think better exterior durability, but probably no effect on internal/electronic durability. While the titanium models are cool, for a pistol-mounted optic, the 407/507 series should serve you just fine. About the only thing you might potentially gain would be the closed emitter nature of the 509T, if that's something you need or want. In the case of the 508T or 509T vs. the 407C/507C, the titanium models are 0.22-0.50oz heavier. Versus the 407K/507K, they're 0.72-1.0oz heavier, so double the weight.

Bought a birthday present for myself. Dropped it on a Lone Wolf slide with the Holosun RMR/509 adapter. The RMR cut in the LW slide sucks and isn’t very deep. I just wanted to play around a it. It’s gonna go on a G26 slide in the near future. Fits just fine in a 6390RDS.

I just received a package from Holosun. They replaced my 507c with a 507c X2. I turned it on to check if the circle-dot reticle was oriented correctly and this one is either level or close enough that I can’t see anything wrong. I like the side loading battery tray but it does mean I’ll need to stock another type of battery. Overall, a very satisfying customer service experience.
