I suspect there will not be a pot of gold at the end of her rainbow re suing her former employer. I suspect her "contract"/employment agreement allows here to be terminated for almost anything.
I would not be surprised if she may be contractually obligated to arbitrate any employment dispute first and/or may be completely barred from even suing in court.

I acknowledge that I am talking general principles of employment law. I am not an employment lawyer. I am not licensed in the state of NY.

This is most likely. We've all worked with that person who was borderline, didn't really bring a lot to the company and was difficult to work with, but showed up everday. When this came up it was a good reason finally for the company to break ties with her. I'm going to assume that CPK had probably signed an agreement regarding social media with the company which gave them a solid reason the let her go.

I asked, perhaps, inartfully, who's story is more believable.

To be clear, I think that entitled white karen did not like it when birdwatching carlton (as in Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) asked/told her to leash her dog. Carlton, asks people all the time to follow the law (something most of here are really keen on) as an unleashed dog really jacks up his birdwatching. When she cannot and/or will not leash the dog and it was clear he was not going to back down (how dare him she thinks.) I also think that would have been her initial reaction to anybody asking her to leash her dog, black, white, brown, male or female.

    Then, the following happens:

Karen then make a conscious decision to call 911, and makes a very deliberate attempt to up the ante and play the race card to get the police there faster by setting up "a bad black man" is trying to hurt me narrative. I found her voice, tone, and word choice all contrived for maximum effect.

The above is my personal opinion on which narrative is more credible based on 28+ years as an attorney, 23+ as a prosecutor
    .

I reserve judgment. While I have no reason whatsoever to question your skill as an attorney or prosecutor, ultimately as a criminal investigator with 20+ years of bringing cases forward, (with no losses on those I was the case agent on), and often being the agent that other agents requested to conduct their criminal defendant interviews because of my successes getting confessions, I'd only be confident in making a judgment after I had an opportunity to sit with them and evaluate their stories. I've been around long enough to have a jaundiced eye when it comes to how some investigations are handled.

Not being evasive. Simply being honest.

Did she post anything to social media?
I thought everything was posted by the sister of Mr. Cooper.

Now they’re trying to run her out of Brooklyn. Witch hunt, but I’m sure she would have supported it against another person.

It doesn't matter what she would have done. It only matters what we are willing to allow. We can't have it both ways. We're either for witch hunts or we need to stomp 'em down even when it involves people we loathe.

I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it

This quote from the article is awesome:

"Then the next stop is to send those detectives to Amy's house and put her in handcuffs to send a strong message that you will not use the police department to go after individuals," he continued.

Over the past 30 years, a large body of research has shown that four factors consistently influence student achievement: all else equal, students perform better if they are educated in smaller schools where they are well known (300 to 500 students is optimal), have smaller class sizes (especially at the elementary level), receive a challenging curriculum, and have more highly qualified teachers.

Minority students are much less likely than white children to have any of these resources. In predominantly minority schools, which most students of color attend, schools are large (on average, more than twice as large as predominantly white schools and reaching 3,000 students or more in most cities); on average, class sizes are 15 percent larger overall (80 percent larger for non-special education classes); curriculum offerings and materials are lower in quality; and teachers are much less qualified in terms of levels of education, certification, and training in the fields they teach. And in integrated schools, as UCLA professor Jeannie Oakes described in the 1980s and Harvard professor Gary Orfield’s research has recently confirmed, most minority students are segregated in lower-track classes with larger class sizes, less qualified teachers, and lower-quality curriculum.

My graduating class in high school, (which bused kids in from predominantly black neighborhoods a few miles away), was about 1100. That was just the seniors. Granted, it was back in the good old days, when Aunt Bee was baking something for Andy and Opie, but this was NYC and lots of folks went on to great schools, big and small, and various accomplishments in professional arenas.

I can't dispute the statistics stated, but I don't think they tell the whole story. My closest black friend in high school ended up going to Brown...and not because anyone needed to fill a quota. He was supremely bright. I can't speak for the rest of the student body as I didn't keep tabs. Our school was about 40% black, 60% white and other.

There's a lot more to this than the statistics alone reveal, imho.

Family has a lot to do with it. If you grow up in a single parent family (lots of blacks in that situation) that has an effect. Mostly has to do with the families economic situation. I'll ask a question here about your friend. Did he have both of his parents supporting him and his efforts in HS? Did he get support from his parents in college? Might even be a cultural thing, I don't know. The HS I went to was 70% Hispanic. I was a minority.
In the P-F basket of deplorables.
