Sadly, calls like this are a wee bit frequent. Too off, they lead to the cops being accused of racism.

Interesting article. I’d want to know for sure that the park Amy and the donor Amy are the same person, but otherwise, this doesn’t even get my Forrest Whitaker eye needle off the peg. Not surprised, either way. People gonna people; doesn’t matter who their personal avatar of political good or evil is.

Karenism is non-partisan. Back when I worked at a voting precinct, I found that I had an equal number of idiots from all parties.

But was the volume quantifiable to the standard echelons?

I agree, Chuck. How is that nobody can deal with an issue without painting an unbelievably broad depiction of facts not in evidence?

For example, in USA Today this morning, the following was reported:

Christian Cooper wrote on his Facebook that he asked for the dog's leash to be put on, but Amy Cooper wouldn't. He said he then told her, "if you're going to do what you want, I'm going to do what I want, but you're not going to like it."

Amy Cooper told CNN that she "didn't know what that meant. When you're alone in a wooded area, that's absolutely terrifying right?"

That would seem to indicate some culpability for the matter's escalation on both sides.

Is it impossible to find poor decisions made on both sides? The simple assumption that women are always victims, or that ethnic or religious minorities are always victims absent evidence of wrongdoing is not in the interest of justice or doing what is right.

People should be willing to examine the facts or the available evidence before jumping to conclusions or making presumptions about guilt or innocence based upon gender, race, ethnicity or sexual preference.

I think both Coopers made errors in how they handled themselves in this matter. I have no dog in this fight.
