On another (non-gun) forum I was on, they had a B/S/T Karma count, but I only got tagged for about 1/3 of my deals. That was a common complaint, that nobody used it as intended.

It was still all 100% positive, but only showed a fraction of my dealings.

Same on bladeforums. Sometimes the transactions weren't recorded by buyer or seller. Other times they were arranged via private message. I sold a couple of Bose knives that way, and it was strictly between me and the purchaser.
There's nothing civil about this war.

I don't think we need it, and if we do, it'll be time for me to peace out and move on.

I opened an account her just about 7 years ago, and it continues to amaze me this place seems to stay in the geek stage.

    Mods here are the shit.
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.

Thanks for that article - I'm going to pass that around.

Been there, done that, and been involved with someone scamming someone else outta $2500. I was the buyer of a scammed product. PayPal, police, and the forum all got involved. All parties had positive feedback until then. While I love the idea, and it works better for eBay and forums that are massive, it's not flawless and your very first sale might be the one where someone decides to play games. You're not better or worse off, so scrap all the extra work.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.
