    Some new old German steel

I made a short day trip to visit a friend yesterday and we did our normal gun shop run plus lunch after. I scored these two for a song. I've got other examples of both models and a ton of Sig mags, but only a couple P5 mags and need to find more. Seems they're MIA these days.

and bonus, the P5 was threaded 1/2-28. Such a good job, it looks factory but of course is not. Same date code as my other example.

Very nice. Earl's Repair is a good source for P5 magazines, but he's not giving 'em away...

    Best, Jon

Wow, I'd no idea the value and desire for P5 Walthers. I'd never seen one in-person.

    Glorious!

I have a Walther P5C I bought a year or so back while drunk Gunbrokering. These P5s are just plain cool.

sadly, his yahoo site is ca 1999 complete with non-secure page for CC info. I emailed him to see if I can call in a CC or mail a check.

His pricing on most things is pretty much bonkers, but sometimes he's the only (reliable) source.

Haha. If only I could afford to be that drunk.

I've always wanted a P5. And I've conceded to the fact I'll just never own a P5c... but a ratty P5, at some point, might be a reality.

I actually just sold my P230. I kinda miss it? But... I honestly didn't shoot it as well as my Makarov. And my Kahr carries just as easy. Oh well...
