I don't know why I had not looked at Crimson Trace sooner, but they have a smallish looking rail mount laser that looks workable for replacing irons with an alternative sighting system.

... because at nearly $3K, out the door, after taxes, I am not going to be purchasing, even if I were to trade some things....

I got my Rattler for $2100 from Grabagun.com, and there's one lightly used in the ARFCOM EE that's $1950 shipped.

Yeah asking for nearly 3k for a rattler is nuts, you can get then for 2250 all day on gun broker.

Need to decide on my rattler bag. Not sold on my LEAF messenger.

I’ve had really good experiences with heavy use of several TLR variants but IMO the remote switching is dogshit across the board.

I don’t mind the Streamlight remote switch design. I have them on a couple of Protac HLs. One of them could end up on the Rattler in ‘Canebrake’ config. BUT, I have mine setup for ALL THE LUMENS or nothing. For mode switching it would be absolutely garbage, but most remote switches would be.
