I hope the M&P 2.0 becomes the PF pistol of the month. I never wavered and still have my “1.0s” plus my 2.0s. 2.0 Compact for carry and 2.0 5 inch for range.

What'd you replace the recoil spring with? Did it come oversprung?

ETA: Nevermind, saw your post earlier. 15 lb. wolff springs, uncaptured guiderods. Cool.

Also, who am I kidding. I'll probably throw an Apex catalog at it.

LASD was issuing 1.0s but last I heard it's transitioning to 2.0 with the new academy classes.

These are two of the largest agencies in the world.
The M&Ps is a mature and proven platform at this point, really the only issue outstanding is the poor accuracy from the 1.0 9mm model with certain bullet weights.
Add to this, Calif Highway Patrol issuing 1.0 .40SW pistols and the three largest agencies in CA all went with the same platform.

Didn’t we have some folks here report accuracy issues with the 2.0 9mm? Or am I remembering incorrectly?

Also Washington and Oregon State Police are supposedly moving to the 2.0 version along with Cincinnati going 2.0, all 9mm. And if memory serves me correctly Chicago has the 2.0 on their authorized list.

Are there any internal differences between the LEO versions and the civilian versions?

My 1.0 9mm duty gun shoots 7 inch groups at 25. I have a personal 2.0 which is about half that with the same ammo so I think they may have likely addressed it.

The non ported 5” 2.0 core version is SKu 11828

There are 8 of them on GB right now

    Ported Version is 11833

I know they’re missing the front serrations.....if that matters for you
