Thread: Interview with the new CEO of Taurus

Interview with the new CEO of Taurus

The new CEO of Taurus USA is a friend of mine from when he worked with Walther. So of course I wanted to get him on and talk about what he hopes to do at Taurus. It's a short interview, about 40 minutes long, but I really hope he does great things there.

Thanks for this. I'm under the impression there are other folks in Taurus and CBC's higher leadership that are accepting their current reputation and are motivated to improve things just as much as Mr. Vorhees, seeing as they're took him on.

I’m rooting for Taurus. They have, and had, so many products I like and want to trust.

    Hopefully things improve.

Lord knows we have been watching the reports of new Taurus buyers with great interest in the Revolver section.

I will definitely watch this video. Interesting timing, as I have been thinking about moving back to my PT92 as a defensive gun.

It's Bret. One less 'o' and a different pronunciation, listening to Mr. Gidding's in the first minute of the interview. Sounded similar to the first two syllables of the surname 'Barese'.

    No fun allowed, beep boop.

Great interview I hope they do well. Side note it was odd seeing you drink from a Glock mug interviewing Taurus.

I hope he does good things for them. Taurus made a pcc before they were cool, based on their smg. It looked like a ton of fun, but it was only sold with ten round mags. There were rumors that higher capacity would be coming, but i don't think they ever did. When i looked into it you extra mags of any flavor didn't exist. That killed it for me.
Great idea, poor execution. Too bad, the Beretta cx4 was the only competition at the time.

Was hoping you'd ask him about the 856 Defender. But was disappointed.
