$45 was big money back in the day ($360 or so in today's money). People who ordered those grips had to be serious about shooting.

You are so right, Stephanie! I had a set of Combats on my first duty gun, a 4" S&W 19-3 back in 1978. Bought those in late 1977 and loved them. I got LOTS of questions from fellow officers and citizens about those stocks. Stupidly, after I had shot that gun to death, I sold the grips with the gun. My number one entry in my "Book of Tears".

At $360, they'd cost more than the K-frames I'd use them on. But I'd probably order them, anyway.

What was the "double palm swell for"? Weak-hand shooting?

Timely thread as I’m currently watching re-runs of “Adam-12” on MeTV. Six inch model 14’s with Fuzzy grips, makes this old revolver geezer’s heart skip a beat. LOL.

I have a Long frame Cobra......just saying. Those grips would be in a very happy forever home with friends.
Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.

That's only a little less than a set of Herrett's will cost, after you add base price, nice wood, a custom charge, and round-trip shipping for your GP100 because they won't do the job without the actual frame to fit them to.

    Righteous!

I SO wish someone would make a copy of those for the GP100. Maybe run the wood up just a wee smidge higher at the back...

Thanks DB. I’ll gladly take that long frame Cobra off your hands. It wouldn’t happen to be one of the Colts i sold you? Maybe we could work out a trade?
