    Force on Force info

My old friend and colleague Ralph Mroz has written a most excellent treatment on conducting force on force simulations safely and effectively.

All too often, FoF training devolves into paintball fights, because the training was not conducted properly. More importantly, every year multiple students, both in and out of law enforcement, are killed or seriously injured during poorly run scenario training. Earlier this year, a student in a private sector FoF class was permanently paralyzed from the neck down in a completely preventable shooting during the scenario. Ralph’s book can help prevent these needless tragedies.

Ralph’s work is available in Kindle format from Amazon for the outrageous sum of $1.79. At that price it would be dumb not to take advantage of Mroz’s experience and knowledge.

Mr Mroz is an excellent trainer. I have his DVDs from the Police Officer Safety Association (I think) from the mid-2000's.

There's also the standard for planning and conducting FOF /RBT scenarios, Ken Murray's TRAINING AT THE SPEED OF LIFE.

I have a copy and am willing to loan it to anyone that would like to borrow it.
