You all can thank me for this: I pulled the trigger last week on several Spydercos I'd been going back and forth on. You're welcome.
Hain’t we got all the fools in town on our side? And ain’t that a big enough majority in any town?

If I can find a micro Yojimbo I will pick up one of those.

The only thing I'm considering is a Techno 2 if I find one listed under Spyderco's ARMFOR price.

May bite on one of these, as well. They are out of stock on the satin blade, but black blade Microjimbo on sale at Smoky Mountain Knife Works for $150.19 (no personal knowledge of the company):

Have there been any sources identified for nonmetallic sheaths or handles for the HIC Mule Teams? Ignoring para cord or similar wrapping.

I'd guess a leather sheath would be the way to go, but handle material could be an issue. This is from Spyderco's website: "Because it has slight dimensional differences compared to steel Mules, the MT40 also will not fit in our standard aftermarket Boltaron® sheath; however, a dedicated sheath specific to the HIC Mule is available."
I'm guessing the aftermarket scales found on Etsy and other places won't fit without some modifications.
