    Ah, the old days:
    AR vs AK
    Ayood vs Cooper
    1911 vs Glock
    Spyderco vs Benchmade…

Those were the good old days.

So I had to look it up; the 'Delica 1' existed until 1999, when the the Delica 3 was introduced with metal pocket clip and other refinements. My first Spyderco was the Delica 3 circa 2002. (The Spyderco Native was the first Polymer model with metal clip, released in 1997.)

The 'Delica 2' was introduced at some point in between. It featured a stainless steel handle and pocket clip similar to the Police.

Frig, finally bent the pocket clip on my Salt. Spyderco doesn't seem to list replacement clips on their site without submitting a pic, so I've done that, but I've only recently learned that there are other clips on the market.

Is there something better than another OEM clip?

I have a few and factory is good enough for me, so no first hand experience, but https://www.lynchnw.com/clips is what the real aficionados seem to prefer.

Lynch is good-to-go. I have several of his pocket clips.

My research says Lynch is the way to go for after market. They've been out of Black Cerakote long deep clips for awhile but finally got them back in stock maybe 3 weeks back. Picked up a couple and happy so far. Quick shipping. Included extra screws. The long deeps go in or out of pocket smoother than the stock clips but seem very stable and stay in place. Granted it's only been a handful of days...

MXG Gear may also be a possible solution.
