In my best Highlander voice " There can be only One!" :
The 4506 is The ultimate classic S&W TDA to own.
In this case, it is a decocker version.
The 4563 TSW is not a bad little guy either.
I really want a 4506. But then I look at prices for mags and spare parts, and get a queasy feeling....
At least you can find spare magazines. This has been a bit of an issue with my girlfriend's 4506.
(Although it should be possible to modify 1911 magazines. I have yet to try this myself though, due to... extreme laziness, I guess?)
I have a question: whenever I see these S&W autos, the grips always look really blocky to me. Are they, or is that just an optical illusion from the contrasting colors?

Shown before, but for posterity.............

We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......
My 1006...
FBI 15 rounder, converted to decock-only, and I do have an extended slide release that is not pictured. Love the gun, and is one I will never sell.
Now, if we get some .357 SIG and .40 conversion barrels... I’d be set.
