    Looking hard at the photo's on the website I'm thinking it's just part of the lock mechanism though it does look almost edged...

    Now for something definitely with a blade, how about the leatherman of handguns - the Apache revolver:

    19th century French but British commandos are alleged to have commissioned a 9 mm copy during World War 2.

    Possibly the most tacti-cool pistol ever!
