I have a Khard 60 that will damn near hold a shorty AR without a folder. But it’s not low profile and looks out of place unless you’re on the trail.
I like Mystery Ranch packs quite a bit.

If someone wanted a rifle rated plate to go in a Gamut, which one is recommended?
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

I like the LTC model 26135. ’10 x 12’ level 4 plates from BulletproofMe.com. But for a pack, you don’t need to pay for a triple curve plate. LAPG has some that are about $100 each.

Can anyone compare Gamut Checkpoint vs Gamut Plus?

    The Gamut 2.0 (20.5”H x 11.5”W x 7.5”D) is the latest revision.

The Gamut Plus (24"H x 16"W x 9"D) is no longer in production.

The Gamut Checkpoint (22”H x 11.5”W x 8”D) has the 2.0 upgrades and is smaller than the Plus

The Gamut Overland (24.5”H x 12.5”W x 9”D) has the 2.0 upgrades and is the largest available.

Thanks. Mine will be 9.5 with whatever muzzle device KAC ships it with. I don't want to go too big but I also don't want to struggle pushing it in. Looks like Checkpoint is the best compromise.

With a law folder, you will be able to stow up to a 10.5 in the Gamut 2.0.

In the Gamut Checkpoint I posted its an KAC 11.5 w/QDC flahider, same should ship with your 9.5
