I'm using a GoRuck GR1 with a Greyman panel for my SIG Rattler. The bag is super comfortable but the organization is limited.

I have a Vertex Ready Pack 2.0. The colors blend and the organization is good. I don't find it comfortable on my five walk.

Slings are fast but are not comfortable for more than car to home.

8.5” fits easily and 10.5” is tight but fits. Plenty of room for accessories, ammo, gear, Earpro, lunch, whatever. I moved the laptop sleeve as low as I could to make it work better.

I dig the color and the fact that it doesn't look tactical AF. I like bags but hate ones that are smothered with molly and other crap. I have always detested hanging crap off of a bag. If I can't fit everything I want inside I will get a bigger one.

It is a great bag, and nice unobtrusive colors. And at the price I couldn’t refuse. There is Molle Biden behind the rear quick access panel for all your tactical needs:

Just put in five miles with the Rattler in the GR1. The Grey Ghost panel keeps the hot spots away. The GR1 is seriously more comfortable than the Vertx Ready Pack for the same weight. I don't know what the difference is but the bag just hangs better and the straps don't dig into me.

The larger Vertx bags are more than what the Rattler needs. I have a 11.5" AR with law folder and will try it in my Gamut. The Vertx Checkpoint looks good too. Wider at the top than the bottom works with the folding brace. I just don't know yet if Vertx bags are uncomfortable compared to GoRuck/TAD across the line. Vertx bags have great organization and REI colors. But, the GR1 is just classic and fits anywhere also.

I have a Tuff Products Revelation II designed by Fisher. It is comfortable on the 5 mile hikes and has a cover over the weapon so you can get through a light bag check.

What muzzle device is on that BCM? Looks like you might be able to get a 12.5 in there if you worked the diagonal. Which suggests the Checkpoint could do the same.

The 11.5 is a super tight fit with small flash hider (the BCM default). I tried with my Surefire and Silencerco hiders but it was too small. I think this is sized for a 10.5. The way the tuff product bag is deigned you cannot wiggle the rifle.

I have a Grey Ghost Gear Apparition with will take a 14.5 with the surefire hider.

    Options:
TAD Fastpack Light Speed - Rattler (this pack is same size as Vertx Ready 2.0 but more comfortable)
    GR1 - Rattler
Tuff Products Revelation II - 11.5" BCM - with law folder and small flash hider.
Grey Ghost Apparition 14.5" - with Surefire flash hider and stock collapsed. It has a little extension pocket that allows the muzzle to extend a little beyond the bag.
HSP SBR bag 11.5" BCM with Surefire flash hider.
