    Probably not, looks like they offer their own piece also. The bushing is way tighter to the slide and barrel than stock, and any play removed will help out at the end of the day.

    Marvel makes a couple conversions for the 1911. They are top of the line.

    The Browning Buckmark was always a solid performer for me and felt more 1911-ish than the older Rugers. No experience with the MkIV.

    I love my old Colt Ace conversion kit. It seems like the older ones work better maybe. Mine is perfectly reliable with real Colt mags, a 15# recoil spring and CCI SV.
