Just keep earning it every day, something we should all do.

We all have to put up with each other's bad habits at times. Your post is a rare thing indeed.

I am perfectly capable of being an ass on the internet, and have the track record to prove it. You have my sympathy and good for you for owning it. Keep working on doing better...I am.

My father has been gone many years now, but I think of him often and if he would approve of how I知 conducting myself as a husband, father and as a person and I imagine he would be disappointed at my online behavior. At my age, I should honestly be able to demonstrate a greater degree of maturity and self-restraint, but obviously there are areas of my life that need some attending. A bit of self-reflection and analysis perhaps. I try to set a positive example for my son and be someone whom my wife respects and that should extend to online interactions. Thanks for hearing me out and I will try to do better.
Awesome, but this would be better if you sent us donuts too.

I think eating crow in public is a pretty good demonstration of your sincerity. I am impressed.

You guys are so gullible. It's obviously a ploy. I think he's trying to foster good will with his faux contrite humility because he's made a knock off Gadget and intends to put it on the market... soon.

Dude - words can't convey the amount of respect I have for the size of your cojones for throwing yourself under the bus like this. Stay around and keep contributing...

That was a solid apology that conveyed the amount of introspection that went into it. I知 totally cool with you starting over with a clean slate.
