    Benelli Maintenance

I have a pair of older HK marked Benelli M1s. One looks like they used it for a boat paddle and the recoil assembly and the inside of the stock is rusty, it’ll be getting replaced with a Sure Cycle.

What other parts should I look at changing out and replacing? I have no idea the mileage on these two.

It's been a while since I attended Sully's shotgun armorer course, and I think my manual was despoiled by vermin in the garage.

With the above caveat, from memory, soak any other rusty parts in Kroil, scrub, and re-lubricate. You might change out the inertial spring, but other than that, unless major pitting is evident, a scrub and re-lube should make things good-to-go.
