64-Year-Old-Man Accidentally Ejects from Fighter Jet at 2,500 Feet

A surprise company outing to an air base caused a 64-year-old French man so much stress that he flung himself from a fighter jet in midair, grabbing the ejector button in a panic and tumbling through the skies above France before landing in a field.

The man had been surprised by employees at his firm, who had organized a joyride in a Dassault Rafale B jet for him as a treat.

I'm just imagining the pilot trying to fly that jet without a canopy.

Just imagine what was going through his mind when he heard the noise of the passenger ejecting and not yet knowing what had happened.

Ejector Button eh? The media could have spent 30 seconds and did some research instead of saying something so silly.

That had to be quite the ride for both of those dudes.

Other than the few times I've flown skydivers, I've always made it a point to land with the same amount of people I took off with. That's a bad day.

Why do we think it was an accident?

I have always loved C&D writing—which often punches way above the typical magazine-level weight class.
