The idiot goes on to list that "22,424 firearms are still in the hands of prohibited persons in California" as an argument to keep "non-prohibited" citizens from buying guns. Yes indeed.. unarmed ctizens are quite a deterrent against crime committed upon them by "prohibited persons." Perhaps they should prohibit government officials from being within 500 ft of crack pipes.
You will more often be attacked for what others think you believe than what you actually believe. Expect misrepresentation, misunderstanding, and projection as the modern normal default setting. ~ Quintus Curtius
They never give up in CA.... Ever.
It's Utopia except for the middle income tax payers and the people living in poverty.
In the P-F basket of deplorables.
They've obviously been lagging with the "knock and talk" program. Of course, the list is matched the same way as the no-fly list. First and last name. If you have the same name as some shitbird in a state of 40 million or so, it can be a bad and expensive time. I've heard accounts where the tactics are very heavy handed intimidation and they won't even have a conversation other than to repeat that you need to give them your guns. Until they get a letter from your attorney, and then it goes to radio silence.

Not another dime.
I say the governor should go for it. I think I'd kind of enjoy the slam dunk smashing this would be in the Circuit Courts.
