Midway has shotshell primers. Hate to pay it, but even with those prices it is cheaper, since shells are $9-$10.

It is a bitch that they only sell Qty1. $74 ends up with almost $30 in shipping.
Yeah, that's the going rate. I found 1,000 CCI #41s for 94 bucks at the LGS on Friday, didnt even hesitate, grabbed 'em up.
Gougers on a local board like to try 150/1,000. Screw that.
Covid is still creating a ton of supply chain issues.
When people can't find ammo on the shelves, they turn to reloading. There have been a bunch of new reloaders added to the demand.
Primers had jumped up to $125 around mid 2021 and started dropping to $75ish. The Brandon imposed Russian sanctions put a stop to importing ammo and prices began to climb again.
People are still in panic mode. The empty grocery store shelves are not helping and tax returns are getting spent on ammo and reloading components. If you can, wait until after the midterms to restock primers. Powder, and especially bullets, are getting easier to find.
-Seconds Count. Misses Don't-
I just picked up six pounds of Titegroup from Powder Valley for $30/lb shipped/hazmat
I just ordered (500) 44 Special cases from Starline. I don't even own a 44 Special. I was thinking I might buy a Freedom Arms 97 or maybe a Ruger BH 44 Spl. Anyway, they just sent me a shipping notice so I guess I'm about to get 500 44 Spl. cases. I ordered those on New Years day so 2 week turn around.
I just posted this up in case anyone needs/wants 44 Spl. cases. You might be able to place an order now with Starline and get some cases. I think they're filling their small web site orders before their large corporate orders or maybe at the same time. It's cheaper to order direct.
Things have been so F'd up these last several years that a guy has to think ahead about a year or two. In the dark ages to come pistol brass may be oz. for oz. as precious as silver.

In the P-F basket of deplorables.
