Yeah, the $77 would maybe not be quite so bad, if you didn't need another 40% to get them in hand. Whenever shipping flirts with half of the cost of the product I have trouble accepting it, more so when the price of the product is doubled.
ETA: I guess I mean if I walked into a store and a box of primers were sitting there and I could buy them for $77 I would. At my burn rate that is about 2-2.5mo worth of shooting, so the extra $40 is an extra buck our two a day.
I am still loading 9mm with 147gn Blue Bullets for less than $0.14, a dime for a primer would bring this to a little under $0.19. As long as factory ammo is hovering near fifty cents the math works, but I am glad I haven't had to pay a dime for any primers. Yet...
What are you guys willing to pay for primers right now?
For me, anything under $100 per thousand I consider a good deal and would do it when I have the funds. I don’t like it but I want to keep shooting so that’s the number I have come up with.

If I needed primers I think $50/1000 is resonable without shipping. I have 15k so not too worried for awhile. I have more powder than I'll ever use.
My range is almost deserted these days. I was there last Friday and I had the range to myself. I think it's because people just aren't willing to pay 3x what they were paying for ammo and components before the election and covid. If gas jumped up to $10/gallon I'd probably stay home except to buy food.
Real estate is also upside down around here. Up 25% in about 18 months. Yuge housing shortage.

In the P-F basket of deplorables.
Berry's has some blemished bullets in several calibers available. I just picked up a thousand 115 gr 9s for $114 shipped.
