Since I have the leg pockets on my Duluth pants, I frequently carry POM in one and a small sap in the other. Easy to reach in the event of unruly / unleashed dogs...or other creatures with legs.

I agree. I trust Sabre Red more than my taser.

Someone who wants a less lethal option which is compact, affordable, almost always non-injurious, allows some stand-off distance, and is effective on most people most of the time.
As I tell my family, it's just another way to say "no".
