What does that configuration do different than the regular SHO MDC? Both sound great.

SHO is limited to 3V, so it's a CR123 cell head only. It is smaller and lighter than the VME/drop-in combo however.

The beauty of the VME head is that it uses any of the M31 or M61 drop-ins, so it can be configured to your liking.
