Thread: Begun the great debate about cargo pants vs jeans has

I'm willing to pay extra for a nice pair of selvage jeans made in the US or Japan, but I saw these at a local store last year and could only justify the price if I won the lottery. Name: 20190309_172140_HDR.jpg

Above average, but I'll pay it: $35
High, but I'll wait for a sale: $50
Too high, but I get why folks would pay: $60
    Ludicrous: $100
    That sounds about right.

And $10-20 jeans and HK pistols sounds balanced priorities to me.

Ive used the LAPG pants in the past, but their sizing wasn't very consistent. Ive fond these at SAMS that fit the bill for work and casual use. If you can deal with a slightly fitted feel that is.

They have a version of these "travel pants" at COSTCO also. I bought multiple pairs and used them on my recent 10 day California vacation - very comfortable and some have a thigh pocket for phones.

    My requirements for pants:
    1. Deep pockets
    2. Not baggy
    3. Mid-rise
    4. Leg opening drapes over top of shoes/boots
    5. Flexible is nice
    6. Under $40.

Seems like a unicorn to me. My Urban Pipeline bootcut jeans from Kohls fit this bill except they have a low rise.

I like Dockers Everyday Khakis. Bought them on sale for $19.99.

WTF??? Those pants cost the same as a CZ Shadow2. I guess some people have different priorities.
