Venturing out of the burrow today to do some grocery shopping in the next couple of hours. Wish me luck, I'll be going sans PPE.

Some years down the line, the old crusty veteran tells the youngster: "...and then there was the time I sallied forth alone into the teeth of the dragon...the supermarket. Risking everything on one throw of the dice."

    Nice!!!

We made it back. We'll see if we remain unscathed. Made sure to get a 15 pack of brewskies from Breckinridge Brewery in CO...TP is one thing...but brews are essential.

If you have Amazon Prime you can get free trials on the following.
    HBO 7 days.
    Starz 7 days.
    CBS All Access 30 days.
    Showtime 30 days.
    Epic 30 days.
And there are a bunch of other channels with similar deals.
We could isolate Russia totally from the world and maybe they could apply for membership after 2000 years.

Sorting brass takes way to much time...quickly reminded myself why I have been putting it off!

I looked at Truth about guns, when saturated on binging on Jessica Jones on Netflix.

    Found this gem: https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/ca...can-buy-today/

Took a walk yesterday and stopped by a frog pond and watch a zillion of them croak (!).

There's only one reason why Glock is the best handgun in existence. It always comes through.

This is the first serious crisis since I retired from 33+ years of policin’. I have a history of being relatively healthy, but my wife, and her sister, who lives with us, have some health complications, including being on heart medication, and are 60+, so I cannot be bringing COVID-19 into the home. It feels WEIRD to be hunkering down, rather than being out there, helping someone, in some way.

We live in an old mid-Fifties bungalow, in a damp Gulf (of Mexico) climate, so, there is always some upkeep-ing to do, but it has gotten old. I would like to go to construction sites, and see how some things are done, and get some ideas, but that is not exactly practicing proper social isolation.

Finished all 92 pages of the lever guns thread this weekend.

    I feel accomplished now.

Oh, I also want a lever gun for the coming hunting season.

Took my .357 1894 from that thread out in the desert (all alone) the other day and had some fun with .38 loads and a few JSP 158gr AE .357 magnums. I will use this rifle on a hunt one day, I just have a feeling.
