I wouldn’t normally carry a gun with only 80 rounds through it, but a trip popped up, and I had enough confidence to carry the G48, 10+1 Federal 147 HST. Only mod to the gun is an SCD and an Ameriglo 0.180” tall Tritium front.
Holster is a JM CK IWB3 with a Melody Lauer Holster Hack; belt is a Mastermind Tactics Specialist. This setup works well for me with minimum printing under an untucked polo and cargo shorts (my ubiquitous Florida Geezer uniform).
Put a few mags through my G48 for the first time and I really like it so far with practice ammo. I will be putting some HST through it to see how the felt recoil is and qualify soon to add it to my CCW.

my 48 still impresses. Torn between the new rmr or the small holosun for them. Will be selling a glock 17 that doesn't get shot much to finance another no rail glock 48.
So, do you guys prefer the new all black slide version or the stainless looking version or the original? I had a stainless version in my hands yesterday at the lgs and it was a new blue label with the gen 5 barrel in it. I almost bought the it but walked away from it.. Your thoughts...

The black looks better but the Gen5 black finish is rather slick. I prefer the feel of the PVD on the silver 48/43X and tan 19X for actually using the gun.
Whatever's cheaper.

Still working through sight options on my G48. I currently have the original OEM plastic 0.256" rear and an Ameriglo Pro Glo 0.180" on the front.
Scored a 90-0X on The Test today. Ammo was Speer Gold Dot 124+p. I like this gun.
