The bullets and primers got here yesterday, plus ordered coated RNLs in .45 and 9x19. I'll be good on ammo for a while.

Never mind the disease isn't transmitted that way and your tap water at home is perfectly safe. I'm surprised we haven't seen lines at the gas pumps yet. Local shelves are now bare on rolled ass wipe, but there's plenty of ammo around.
I was silently laughing at people yesterday at the supermarket who had their carts piled high with soda pop and bottled water.

As far as ammo goes, I went to the local gun store yesterday to pick up some more pistol primers since I hit my reorder stock level and when I got there the line went out the fucking door. I just turned around, left, and ordered 6K more from Powder Valley from home. Paid less, even with shipping and hazmat.

That plus an incoming shipment of 4K plated 9mm 124 grain stuff and I should be set for a few more months.

I had wanted to to make a run to the central Texas area, for several reasons, one being to get fresh handgun carry ammo, and, especially, fresh buck and shotgun slugs at GT Distributors, in Austin. This was planned before the recent pandemic panic spurred a run on ammo; I might find bare shelves. Fortunately, ammo keeps relatively well, so with what I have, on hand, the need to replenish is not critical.

Luckily, I just replenished my small stock of .45 ACP HST during Target Sport's last half-price sale. I'm still good on 9x19 and .40 S&W HST, .223 Gold Dot and 8-pellet 00 Flite Control. And no, I ain't tellin' ya where I live.

10,000 of .22 showing up today. I ordered it ten days ago before all
this panic. It looks suspicious so I get the OP’s premise.

Back on 03/09, I saw a deal on a case of 9mm with free shipping. I figured, "What the hell, I can always use a little more 9mm."

In between now and then, the couple of local stores I've been into have been wiped out. My ammo is scheduled for delivery this afternoon.

CCI Standard Velocity .22lr. It isn’t the “best” .22lr for any one particular gun, it just happens to be widely reliable in pistols and rifles, suppressed and unsuppressed. It is an amazing choice if you have 10 guns that use .22lr that all prefer different ammo and you might shoot suppressed and unsuppressed.

I bought a case of 10mm last week because it randomly occurred to me that I had an OK stack of every caliber I own except 10mm.

Then all this shit went pear shaped in the past 5-6 days and here we are.

Yeah, after my range session Saturday I ordered Federal Syntech from Brownells, because they're out of all cheap FMJ. So is Lucky Gunner, my usual spot for Fiocchi. Little more than I wanted to spend, but I also like Syntech (or rather, it works well so no complaints). FYI as of this morning they still had it in stock.
