    Tuesday July 3.

Signup begins Monday, June 18 at 9AM.

I will not likely be there...on a bicycle ride in Pennsylvannia on the Ghosttown Trail near Dillwood, PA.....

I will shoot the July 1 match in Lewisberry, PA, so I won't have to go more than a week between matches.

    Good Luck.

video of my match. the names of the stages are my own.

really not that bad for literally not shooting a single round for 3 months.

the dumbest thing I did was of course the epic forgetting about KSTG cover rules on stage 5 (which bumped me from 3rd to 16th in one fell swoop) but the second dumbest and the one I have been thinking most about happened on stage 2. took two well placed shots at the headbox for T1, then proceeded to aim at the headbox of T2 forgetting that I had the whole target to work with. I then readjusted POA to the body, but that little bobble screwed up my rhythm for the rest of the stage. and then I forgot how to shoot an index card on the last target. Possibly because of my deep and enduring love for Tyrion Lannister. best character ever.

I'll upload Vinh's match soon, if he wants me to, that is.

    gotta love what ya do.

I mostly used it as an opportunity to further my knowledge of After Effects, specifically the motion tracker. goal was to make the text appear as if it is really there and moving around with the camera. this is accomplished by simulating the motion-tracked text in a 3D space with shadows by using a software spot light. results varied from working very well to sort of mediocre.

I want to make a much more involved opening animation for the next one. while I liked the way I was able to sync it to the music (most manly track ever, been looking for a reason to use it) its obviously very basic.

Blah blah blah. I don't understand a damn thing you're saying. I just know the results are awesome. Seriously, I might hire you to drop by an AFHF some day and make a video like that for my YouTube channel.
