I have these and really like them. I need some more, but unfortunately their entire product line appears to be sold out. Hope they arent out of business.

I used a craftsman rolling tool box with drawers. I am searching for a better solution

I just use zippered nylon cases. If you get a lighter color you can write which pistol it is on the outside.

Shooting buddy took out all the shelves in safe, lined wall with marine plywood with 9mm size dowel rods to hold the pistols (dowel rods in barrels). He has a lot of pistols.

I’m also a fan of zippered cases, but I like the LA Police Gear ones at $13.99. They hold the gun and spare mags ( 5 elastic loops) and have a velcro patch so you can ID the contents. Available in several colors. They fit service size auto pistols, but are a little cramped for 4” or longer revolvers. I can usually fit the gun, an IWB holster, a mag pouch and 7-8 mags inside one without too much crowding.

I also like the bent wire things that slide on to a shelf in the safe.
